Scope:
- Opened wall between closet and adjacent storage room (8x6 ft combined space)
- New front-load LG WashTower (stacked, 27-inch)
- Upper cabinets (IKEA Sektion with custom fronts)
- Quartz folding counter (36-inch depth)
- Undermount utility sink with pull-out faucet
- LVP flooring (matching main floor)
- New electrical circuit (20A dedicated)
- Drywall, paint, new door
Cost:
- Appliances (LG WashTower): $2,800
- Plumbing (utility sink rough-in + hook-up): $1,850
- Electrical (20A dedicated circuit): $480
- Cabinets and hardware (IKEA, custom fronts): $1,920
- Quartz counter: $1,100
- Flooring, drywall, paint: $1,640

The utility sink was the best addition. Soaking items, hand-washing, cleaning paint brushes — we use it daily.
What I’d change:
More upper cabinet depth. Standard 12-inch IKEA upper cabinets barely hold detergent boxes. Should have done 15 or 18-inch depth.
