A new air conditioner does not always mean a cooler room. Many people buy a brand-new AC and still feel hot after some time. The problem is usually not the machine itself.
Sometimes the AC is too small for the room. A small unit will struggle to cool a large space, especially on very hot afternoons. The air may come out cold, but the whole room will still be warm.
Bad placement of AC can also be an issue. If sunlight hits the room all day, the AC has to work harder. Opening the windows and doors also let hot air enter again.
Dirty filters are another reason. Even a new AC can get dusty very quickly. When air cannot pass through well, cooling becomes weak.
Some people also expect instant cooling when an AC is on. An AC needs a little time to lower room temperature properly.
Poor electricity supply can affect performance too. When power is weak, the AC would not work at full strength.
In many cases, the AC is fine. The real issue is the room, airflow, or how the unit is being used every day.
