One thing I’ve noticed in many homes is that people don’t always wait for their appliances to really break before they change them.
Most times it starts with small issues. The fridge is still working, but it makes a little noise. Or the washing machine still cleans, but it feels slower. Instead of checking or fixing it, people start thinking about buying a new one.
There is also pressure from outside. When People see new models in shops or online, and they look better. They are quieter, faster, and have more features. They start to see their appliance as old, even when it works fine.
Another thing is repair stress. Some people don’t trust repairs anymore. They feel it will break again, so they just replace it and move on.
Money also plays a part. When someone has extra cash, replacing is easier for them than repairing.
In the end, many appliances are not spoilt. They are just replaced because people want something newer, cleaner, and
less stressful to deal with at home.
