That Habit of Ignoring Something Because It’s Still Manageable

I think a lot of people (myself included) have this habit of ignoring something as long as it’s still manageable. Not perfect, but manageable.

Like something that doesn’t work smoothly anymore, but still works if you handle it a certain way. So you leave it like that.

The problem is, manageable usually doesn’t stay the same. It slowly moves towards inconvenient, and sometimes beyond that.

I’ve seen this happen with small things like fittings, surfaces, or even alignment issues. Nothing urgent at first, but over time it becomes something you wish you had fixed earlier.

What I find interesting is that we often notice the change, but we just choose not to act on it yet.

Now I try to take those still manageable moments a bit more seriously. Not in a stressful way, just as a sign that something might need attention soon.

It’s easier to deal with things at that stage than later when it becomes unavoidable.

People ignore the fact that it’s easier to deal with at that stage before it becomes worse

That is a very very bad habits and people do ignore something because it’s manageable so when you get to the bigger problem which they can’t handle anymore

It usually starts small you think it’s still manageable, so you leave it then it quietly turns into a bigger issue later.

Yes I agree with you that It’s easier to deal with things at that stage than later when it becomes unavoidable.
