I’ve noticed smart home technology is becoming a much bigger part of modern renovations now.
Things like smart lighting, security systems, thermostats, and automated appliances are no longer just luxury features. Many homeowners now include them during renovations because they improve convenience, energy efficiency, and security.
What I find interesting is that some smart upgrades can also increase the long-term value of a home, especially when integrated properly into the renovation design.
At the same time, I think simplicity still matters. Too much technology can sometimes make maintenance more complicated than necessary.
Which smart home feature do you think is actually worth adding during a renovation?
