LF Builders has a side project and it finally works well enough to show you: Shirt Lab — a shirt design studio that runs in the browser. No account, no app. You open one of our designs, change the words or the colours (or start blank and drop in your own artwork), and it prints on a real Gildan tee and ships to you. From about US$19.50.
Why we built it: the crew kept wanting job-site shirts with a line on them and every print shop wanted a 24-piece minimum and a week of email. Now it is one shirt, ten minutes.
A few of the designs that are live right now:

This is the whole remix, start to finish (the family name is the only thing I changed):

Every design page has a “remix” button, so “Family Meeting, Gravy Agenda” becomes “The Stimpsons. Gravy Agenda.” in about thirty seconds.
The renovation batch went live today. These are the ones the crew argued about the most:
Also live: Clean Your Eavestroughs (Love, Your Foundation), D.I.Y. Didn’t Inspect Yet, It’s Not a Mess. It’s a Phase.. Sump Pump Gang was made the week the storm filled a few thousand basements; the battery-backup line is the real advice.
If you have a line the crew should put on a shirt, reply with it here. The ones that get picked go live on the site with the forum credited on the design page.
You will also see a small “Shirt Lab picks” rail on topic pages from now on. It hides for three days if you close it and it never appears in the Shorts or Staff areas.
