Local Community Build Project Next Weekend Looking For Tool Donations!

I’m putting this post out here to see if any local members want to get involved with a really great charity project happening in our area next Saturday. We are partnering with a local non-profit shelter to help build a brand-new wooden playground and outdoor seating area for families in transitional housing.

The site is already cleared and the lumber is being delivered on Friday, but we are running a bit short on physical tools for the volunteer crew to use on Saturday morning.

If you have any of the following items sitting in your garage collecting dust, please consider lending them to us for the weekend or donating them permanently to the cause:

Standard cordless drills and impact drivers (with chargers!)

Heavy-duty tape measures and carpenter squares

Safety glasses, work gloves, and ear protection

Basic hand tools like hammers, screwdrivers, and wood files

Even if you can’t volunteer your time to help with the physical assembly, dropping off a box of extra hardware or water bottles for the workers would be a massive help. Let me know if you’re interested and I can send over the location details!

I’ve never partake in a charity or donation before but I’m going to trim on invest based on your article to do do that

Love this initiative. I can’t make it Saturday, but I’ve got a cordless drill and plenty of spare safety gear you can borrow. Where can I drop them off?

This is a wonderful community initiative supporting the project with tools or supplies is a great way to help create a safe, welcoming space for families.
