I think one of the smartest renovation upgrades is improving lighting design instead of relying on a single bright light source for every room.
Layered lighting using ceiling lights, lamps, LED accents, and natural light can completely change the atmosphere of a home. Different lighting setups also make spaces more flexible for relaxing, working, or entertaining guests.
What I find interesting is that lighting affects how wall colors, flooring, and furniture appear throughout the day, which is why it plays such a major role in overall interior design.
In my opinion, a well-lit home often feels more expensive and comfortable even without major luxury renovations.
What type of lighting upgrade do you think creates the biggest improvement in a home?
