This might be unpopular, but I’ve started taking online home setup ideas with a grain of salt.
Not because they’re bad some are actually creative but because they don’t always translate well into real-life use.
I tried copying a simple setup I saw online for a small space. Looked perfect in the video. Clean, organized, aesthetic, but after trying it, I realized something it was designed more for looks than daily use.
Things were harder to reach, space felt tighter than expected, and maintaining that clean look required constant effort.
That’s when it hit me a lot of these setups are optimized for visuals, not for how people actually live.
Since then, I’ve been adjusting things based on convenience first, then appearance.
I’m not saying online ideas are useless, but I don’t follow them blindly anymore.
I’m curious though do you guys actually follow those setups exactly, or do you modify them to fit your own lifestyle?
I totally agree a lot of online setups look amazing in pictures, but real life is different. I usually take ideas from them and adjust everything to fit my daily routine better.
You’re right on it buddy, I also don’t really trust online home set up ideas anymore and I’m saying tjis from experience guys. Keep the good work going
