Quick question about kitchen walls. We are putting in standard white subway tile for our backsplash, and I’m trying to decide where to stop the tile.
Usually, people just go up to the bottom of the upper cabinets. But we have a wall near the sink with no upper cabinets at all, just open space. Would it look weird if we took the tile all the way up to the ceiling on that specific wall? Or does that look too much like a restaurant kitchen?
I’m trying to make the kitchen feel taller, but I don’t want it to look cold or intense. If anyone has done a full-wall backsplash, let me know how it turned out.
