The first step was giving the deck a solid foundation by installing new joists to support my grill without any complaints. Afterward, it was time for a railing upgrade. I bid farewell to the pressure-treated wood and said hello to cable rails, allowing me to have a clear view of my garden tomatoes.
However, the cherry on top? Composite decking. Goodbye, yearly painting sessions, easy-to-maintain decks that only need occasional washing.
Now? Coffee on the deck is a whole new experience. It took me a lot of effort, but now my deck has been transformed into something truly special. And if I can do it, anyone can.
