Let’s be honest, countertops are the centerpieces of kitchens. I had experience working with nearly all types, so listen up!
Granite is natural perfection with flaws. Absolutely stunning and heat resistant, but you need to reseal it annually. Don’t forget!
Quartz, however, is my favorite low-maintenance option. Engineered with no need for sealing and stain-resistant qualities. Colors? Any combinations await.
Solid surface counters have seamless joints and can host sinks. However, if you plan to put hot pots there, consider getting a trivet first.
And let’s not forget marble. It is elegant but demanding. If you drop a pen there, it creates marks. Only use it if you don’t mind the memories.
Quartz for me, hands down! However, you make your choice depending on taste and money. Do yourself a favor though and take samples first.
