Bringing New Life to the Fireplace in My Living Room

My fireplace used to be one of the ugliest spots in the room large mantel and brick surrounds giving me flashbacks of my grandma’s basement days. Well, enough was enough. It was time for change.

The first thing on the list was getting rid of that outdated mantel and putting in place a recycled wood beam. This fireplace was mine!

Then came the installation of simple white subway tiles as surround. Major improvement there.

However, what really did the trick was getting a modern electric insert. The hassle-free alternative to traditional fireplaces, and so stylish too.

And now, my fireplace has become the heart of the room. I even keep my candles, book, and knit throw near it.

So, don’t fear if you have a boring fireplace. A bit of work and creativity can change all that. Go get those hands dirty!

A simple fireplace upgrade with wood beam, subway tile, and electric insert can completely modernize a room’s atmosphere and feel.

That sounds like a huge upgrade tho old fireplaces can make a whole room feel dated. The wood beam and electric insert probably changed the entire atmosphere and made the space feel warmer and more comfortable.

Well thanks for your insight I’m glad at the end it’s finally got what you want
