If you had a tight renovation budget and could only improve three things in a house, what would you choose first?
For me it would probably be:
• Flooring
• Fresh paint
• Kitchen storage/cabinets
I say flooring because old floors affect the entire look of a room immediately. Paint is one of the cheapest ways to modernize a home, especially with better color combinations. Kitchen storage is also important because clutter can make even expensive kitchens feel smaller and less functional.
A lot of people focus only on decoration, but I think functionality matters just as much as appearance during renovation.
Sometimes small upgrades create a bigger impact than expensive full remodels.
What would your top 3 upgrades be?
