Three quotes for the same small bathroom: $9k, $11k, and $13k. Same scope on paper. Is a $4k spread normal, or is the cheapest cutting corners somewhere I should worry about?

Same range for us. Went with the middle quote because they were the only one who budgeted a subfloor contingency — glad we did, there was rot.
$4k spread on an 11k job is normal — mostly labor rates and how each builder prices risk on a small room with old plumbing. Ask each to itemize waterproofing.
