Tesla doesn’t officially offer or install pest guards for its Solar Roof, but many homeowners add wire mesh themselves or hire someone to do it. These guards help keep out birds, squirrels, and wasps by covering gaps under the roof edges. As long as the mesh doesn’t mess with the wiring or roof parts, it usually won’t affect your warranty. Also, these guards don’t block airflow or cooling, so they’re safe to use if installed correctly.
