One thing I noticed in renovation work is that unclear communication will always shows up later as extra cost.
At the start, everything sounds simple. You explain what you want, they agree, and work begins. But if details are not clearly written down, small misunderstandings will start appearing during the job.
For example, something you thought was included might be treated as “extra work.” Or the finish you expected might not match what was actually delivered.
The problem is not always bad intention. Sometimes it is just different understanding.
What I learned is that in renovation, spoken agreement is not enough. Even simple things need to be clear before work starts.
In renovation small details become big expenses later clear written agreements save money reduce arguments and help everyone understand exactly what is expected from beginning to end.
