I’ve been in places that are almost identical in layout and size, but they feel completely different once you spend some time in them.
At first, I used to think it was just personal preference, but now I think there are small details that quietly shape that feeling.
Things like how light spreads in the room, how air moves, or even how objects are placed without blocking space.
None of these things stand out immediately, but together they create a different experience.
I remember comparing two similar rooms once, and one just felt more comfortable even though I couldn’t explain why at first. After a while, I realized it was small things like better spacing and slightly better lighting distribution.
It made me understand that comfort isn’t always about big design choices. Sometimes it’s the small adjustments that people don’t even notice consciously.
Now when I enter a space, I find myself paying attention to those little differences more than before.
