One thing I’ve come to realize is that not all construction mistakes are visible immediately. Some of them only show up after the building has been used for a while. At first everything looks perfect. Walls are straight, floors are fine, everything seems properly finished. But after some time, small signs start appearing.
Maybe a door stops closing properly, or a small crack appears near a corner, or a section starts behaving slightly differently from the rest.
What I find interesting is that these things don’t usually happen suddenly. They develop slowly until they become noticeable.
I’ve seen cases where people only realize there was a small mistake in the early stage of construction when effects start showing much later.
Now I understand why people say observation over time is important in building work. Not everything reveals itself immediately, and patience sometimes shows more than initial inspection.
