One thing I’ve noticed in kitchen renovations is that small planning mistakes become very obvious after everything is finished.
For example, cabinet spacing, poor workflow between sink–stove–fridge, or even wrong lighting placement can make a kitchen feel less functional even if it looks expensive.
A kitchen should not just look good — it should also make daily cooking easier and more efficient. I think many people focus too much on aesthetics and forget about movement and usability.
A well-planned kitchen can feel bigger and more comfortable even in a small space.
What kitchen feature do you think matters most: design or functionality?
I do feel like the kitchen feature that matters the most is the functionality, what’s the essence of having all the best designs and not having any purpose ?
