Ross Jones earned his BS in Construction Technology in 1983, worked the industry for seven years, then started Jones Construction Company in 1990. His wife Melanie runs operations and handles client scheduling and material selection; Ross oversees construction and does much of the on-site work himself. They’ve been building custom homes in the Black Hills region ever since.
The credentials are real. Jones Construction is a member of the Black Hills Home Builder Association (BHHBA), has won Best of Show in the BHHBA Annual Parade of Homes, and Ross was eventually inducted into the BHHBA Hall of Fame for his contributions to the local home building industry. The company has also been named one of the top ten best general contractors in South Dakota by General Contractors Magazine for two consecutive years.
