I made a POP ceiling, I almost regretted everything

I called a contractor to install a POP ceiling in my place, and I thought it would be a smooth job. Just pay, wait, and enjoy the result. That’s what I had in mind.

At first, everything looked fine. Work started, dust everywhere, people climbing ladders, mixing materials, all that normal renovation chaos. I didn’t even stress too much because I assumed, “these guys know what they are doing.”

But the real stress started after.

The result wasn’t as clean as I expected, and I noticed small issues here and there. I also didn’t even ask for warranty at the beginning, which was my own mistake, because I ignored what I read on renovation.reviews and trusted the process too much.

What shocked me most was how quickly small POP work can turn stressful if anything goes slightly wrong. Once it’s on your ceiling, fixing it again is not small work at all. It’s dust, breaking parts, redoing sections starting trouble again inside your own house.

I think I learned something from that experience. In renovations, even simple ceiling work is not actually simple. And trusting a contractor without clear terms will definitely become your biggest regret later.
Pls don’t be like me.

At the start, everything looked normal dust, ladders, noise, and the usual renovation chaos so I didn’t think much of it.

At the start, everything just looked like normal renovation chaos dust everywhere, ladders around, and all the usual noise so I didn’t really think much of it either.

Many renovation jobs look simple from the outside until problems start showing up later POP ceilings can look beautiful, but once there are mistakes, fixing them becomes stressful

That’s one of those looks better in theory than in real life situations. Once the POP ceiling goes up, people realise it’s not just about design it comes with dust, maintenance issues, and sometimes regret when the lighting or spacing doesn’t turn out how they imagined.

Pop now days are very good in buildings it make it look so mordernise thanks for your insight

Fixing a pop ceiling needs professionals and quality tools so it can last longer and also so it won’t fall of the hook, have seen many pop ceiling fell off because it wasn’t done with good quality materials
