Cheap staging tricks to make a small bedroom look bigger?

Hey everyone, we are trying to clear out and stage a small spare bedroom to get our place ready to sell, but the room just looks super tiny and cramped right now. I know staging makes a huge difference for buyers, but I don’t want to spend a ton of money on it.

What are some easy staging tricks to make a tight space feel bigger? I already painted the walls a light off-white color to brighten it up, but it still feels small. Should we leave it completely empty so it looks like there’s more floor space, or is it better to put a small bed and a side table in there so people can actually see what fits?

I’ve heard that putting a large mirror opposite the window can help bounce light around and make the room look twice the size, but I’ve never tried it. Any tips on lighting, curtain placement, or furniture layout that actually work for staging would be awesome.

Small bedrooms always look bigger when there’s less visual clutter lighter colours, mirrors, better lighting, and furniture that doesn’t take up too much visual space really change the feel.

Small bedrooms need lights, mirrors and space management to become spacious

Definitely don’t leave it empty; buyers need scale. Put a small bed and side table in there. Hang curtains high and wide, and that mirror trick absolutely works wonders

I belive that it’s the arrangement of furniture and appl in the small bedroom that make s it look small

I prefer small bedrooms to bigger ones though
