When Hope Feels Heavy, Someone Still Runs for You

Cancer has a way of making the world feel smaller.

Appointments, treatments, waiting rooms, quiet nights everything begins to revolve around survival.

For many people, the hardest part is not just the illness, but the feeling of being alone in it.

That’s why the story behind SAMMS Cancer Charity matters.

Simon saw how deeply cancer affects families emotionally, financially, and mentally. Instead of watching from the sidelines, he decided to do something bold: run 251 kilometers to remind patients that someone is standing with them.

This run is not about strength in muscles.

It’s about strength in compassion.

Each kilometer represents a person who is still fighting.

Each step is a message that their lives matter.

Why SAMMS Exists

SAMMS is built on one simple belief: no one should face cancer alone.

The charity focuses on support, encouragement, and awareness giving patients the emotional strength to keep going when days feel impossible.

This is what real community looks like.

You Can Be Part of This

You don’t need to run to make a difference. Sometimes, sharing a story is enough to change how someone feels today.
