Zetti Contracting is a Morgantown, WV general contractor run by Jay Scorzetti, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University. The company covers residential renovation, general contracting, and student housing — a niche that makes practical sense given Morgantown’s position as a university city. One notable project is the award-winning U-Club Sunnyside, a student housing development. A civil engineering background gives an owner-operator a structural and systems understanding that most contractors don’t have. On renovation projects where load paths, drainage, or mechanical systems are involved, that technical foundation affects both the quality of the assessment and the reliability of the execution plan.
