Before you say yes to fixing up your bathroom, just make sure to do your homework, double-check everything, and actually read the fine print in the contract.

Only in high flood risk zones and if elevation meets or exceeds base flood elevation it can lower premiums under FEMA Risk Rating 2.0 but the discount is often modest compared to elevating the whole structure
