Hiring a handyman was supposed to be a quick fix for my leaky sink. Enter Dave, a chatty guy with a toolbox and stories for days. He fixed the sink in no time, but we got talking turns out, he’s into the same obscure sci-fi flicks as me. One repair led to another, and soon Dave was over fixing shelves, joking with my kids, and even joining us for BBQ one Sunday. He’s got this knack for making you feel like you’ve known him forever. Now, he’s not just “the handyman” he’s the guy who texts me about new sci-fi releases and swings by for coffee.
