Bathrooms are in first place, with 53% of homeowners planning to fix them up. Kitchens aren’t far behind; about 51% of people want to change things there. And living rooms are getting attention from 37% of homeowners who want to give them a new look. As far as what people are actually doing, they’re going for changes that make a big impact without tearing everything down. Think about things like swapping out old flooring, giving walls a fresh coat of paint or some cool new wallpaper, making the lighting better, and repairing or upgrading the plumbing. Doing these kinds of things can really make a home feel newer, more up to date, and just more comfortable to live in, and you don’t have to spend a fortune to do it. So, to sum it up: in 2025, homeowners are really focusing on renovations that make their everyday lives better and also add some value to their homes. Bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms are the main targets, with updates to things like flooring, paint, lighting, and plumbing leading the way. These projects are a way for homeowners to make their homes feel fresh and comfortable without going broke. ---
