Follow-up to the digest — shout-outs to this week’s top contributors. Threads like yours are what keeps the board answering real questions instead of drifting.

- **@Defizyn** — the [permit-delay thread](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/why-renovation-permits-are-quietly-delaying-projects-in-2026/45481) was the highest-read non-admin post of the week, and the [contractor-quoting thread](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/why-contractors-are-quoting-higher-but-committing-less-in-2026/45440) hit at the exact right time with quote season ramping.
- **@Kizzy1** — three solid Canada-focused posts (Calgary reno show, Greener Homes boom, secondary suites). Regional coverage is exactly what we need more of.
- **@Talent_lawrence_Godw** — “Best Living Room Remodeling Ideas for 2026” and the USA balcony thread both pulled real views. Good design-side contributions.
- **@HomeRenovationExpert** — the [gutter-guards + ice-dams question](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/can-gutter-guards-cause-ice-dams) is the kind of sharp homeowner question the forum exists for. Thanks for posting it.

Honourable mention to everyone who hit the like button this week on threads that helped them. That’s the signal new visitors use to find what’s worth reading.

If you’re on this list and you haven’t filled in your profile bio yet, drop a line about your trade or what kind of project you’re working on. It helps other members know who they’re talking to. Cheers.
