# Walker’s Van & Storage — Moving & Storage Services in Deep River, ON

> **Editorial note:** Walker’s Van & Storage is a moving-and-storage business, not a renovation contractor. This listing is preserved as a _neighbouring-services_ reference for homeowners who are planning a reno in the Upper Ottawa Valley and need to temporarily relocate furniture, appliances, or full household contents during the construction window. For the renovation work itself, see the Renfrew-County contractors linked below.

Walker’s Van & Storage is based in Deep River, Ontario and operates under the pleasemoveme.ca brand, serving the Upper Ottawa Valley with local and long-distance moving, packing, and short- and long-term storage. A whole-home renovation or a large addition usually means clearing rooms — sometimes entire floors — for weeks or months; a regional mover-plus-storage firm lets homeowners keep belongings safe without cramming them into the garage or a friend’s basement.

## Services Offered

- **Residential moving** — local and long-distance
- **Packing and unpacking services**
- **Short-term storage** — for homeowners clearing space during active construction
- **Long-term storage** — for extended renovation timelines or downsizing transitions
- **Van and truck rental adjacencies**

## Service Area

Headquartered in Deep River, Ontario; serves the Upper Ottawa Valley corridor including Petawawa, Chalk River, Pembroke, Laurentian Valley Township, and surrounding Renfrew County communities.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Moving and storage is one of the most underestimated line items in a major renovation budget. Homeowners routinely discover three weeks into a kitchen or main-floor reno that their belongings are living in piles in the dining room; a regional mover-storage pairing avoids that. This listing is preserved (not deleted) because it provides genuine adjacent-services value to the directory’s renovation audience in the Upper Ottawa Valley — the same editorial logic applied to materials suppliers and equipment rental firms elsewhere in the directory. The original listing was imported with a generic “renovation company” label, which this edit corrects.
