United Construction is a general contractor based in Parkersburg, West Virginia with a 4-star rating. The company carries a notable safety record: no OSHA recordable injuries since 2012, and an Experience Modifier Rate below 0.66 maintained for at least five consecutive years. The EMR is a quantitative safety metric used in the insurance industry — a score below 1.0 means the contractor’s job-site injury record is better than average, and below 0.66 indicates strong safety performance relative to peers.

For homeowners and commercial clients, a low EMR signals disciplined site management that extends beyond safety into overall project execution quality.
