# Tri-Way General Construction / Heirloom Kitchens — Family-Run Renovations & Custom Cabinetry in East Garafraxa, Dufferin County, ON

Tri-Way General Construction is a 25-plus-year family business started by Richard Kamphuis, who bought the companion cabinet shop Heirloom Kitchens in 2007 and has operated both under one roof since. The combined operation handles full-scope renovations from ground-up new builds through interior remodels, with in-house custom cabinetry giving it an unusually tight kitchen-and-bath workflow for a rural Dufferin firm.

## Services

- Full-scope renovations — interior remodels, additions, ground-up new builds
- Custom kitchens via Heirloom Kitchens — cabinetry, countertops, sinks, fixtures, handles
- Flooring — hardwood, tile, and engineered finishes
- Windows and doors — supply and install
- Bathrooms — full refits leveraging the in-house cabinet shop

## Service Area

Shop at 351006 17th Line, East Garafraxa, ON L9W 7C9. Active service across Dufferin County (Orangeville, Grand Valley, Shelburne, Mono, Mulmur) and south into the Caledon / Peel corridor.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Single-owner GC + cabinet-shop combos are rare in Dufferin — most local renovators outsource cabinetry to dealer networks, which adds lead time and coordination overhead. Tri-Way’s in-house Heirloom workflow collapses that coordination, and the multi-generational craftsmanship positioning (old-European-trained carpentry) is a useful differentiator for homeowners shopping heritage-style kitchens.
