# Tri Peak Construction & Design, Inc. — Residential Remodels & Commercial TI in Reno, NV

Tri Peak runs two distinct lines of work out of their Reno office at 4600 Kietzke Lane: residential remodels for Reno-Tahoe homeowners, and commercial tenant improvements plus franchise build-outs across the country. The company relocated to Reno in 2017 and earned a Nevada contractor license in 2020. On BuildZoom, it ranks in the top 10% of 21,879 Nevada licensed contractors — a metric based on permit history and project volume rather than customer reviews alone.

The franchise build-out side of the business is the more unusual credential. Over 100 completed franchise store builds across the US requires the kind of logistics infrastructure — pre-construction coordination, timeline management, multi-trade scheduling — that most residential GCs don’t develop. That discipline often transfers directly to complex residential additions where timeline pressure is real and multiple trades need to sequence correctly.

## Services

- **Residential remodeling** — room additions, patio covers, bathroom updates, basement finishes; the team also takes on less common residential scopes like cabin and yurt remodels and custom barn door fabrication and installation
- **Commercial tenant improvements** — office upfits, furniture and fixture installation, demolition-to-rebuild TIs for retail and professional spaces; experienced with landlord coordination and phased occupancy requirements
- **Franchise build-outs** — over 100 completed franchise store builds nationwide; experience across multiple franchise brands with standardized build specs and tight opening-day deadlines
- **Design-build services** — the company handles design alongside construction for clients who want a single point of contact from concept through completion

## Service area

Reno-Tahoe area for residential work. Nationwide for franchise and commercial tenant improvement projects, with the Reno office serving as the project management hub.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

A local GC with both residential remodel credentials and a documented track record in high-volume commercial construction is unusual. The project management systems that come from 100+ franchise builds tend to produce better scheduling and fewer surprises on complex residential additions.
