A home had been sitting on the market with little interest. Buyers liked the space but kept noticing the small flaws—cracked tiles in the entryway, a door that wouldn’t shut properly, and a few broken light switches. Instead of dropping the price, the owners rolled up their sleeves. Over one weekend, they replaced the tiles, fixed the door, and updated the switches.
