# Tall Guy Painting — 5-Star Interior & Exterior Painting in Amherst, NS

Tall Guy Painting is an Amherst, Nova Scotia painting specialist with a five-star reputation built on careful prep work and consistent follow-through. Covering both interior and exterior painting, the company takes a holistic approach — prioritizing protection of existing surfaces and finishes before brush touches wall. They operate out of Amherst in Cumberland County and serve homeowners across the region.

## Services

- **Interior Painting** — Wall, ceiling, and trim painting for residential spaces, with thorough prep, masking, and protection of floors and fixtures throughout the project. Their protection-first workflow minimizes the cleanup burden left for homeowners after each session.
- **Exterior Painting** — Exterior surface painting including siding, trim, decks, and fences, applied to stand up to Nova Scotia’s variable coastal-influenced weather. Proper surface prep and primer work at this stage determines how long the finish coat holds up through freeze-thaw cycles.
- **Renovation Painting** — Painting coordinated as part of a broader renovation, sequenced correctly with other trades — drywall, priming, and finish coats timed to the overall project schedule. Their experience working within active renovation sites means they integrate with GC-led projects without creating scheduling bottlenecks.

## Service Area

Tall Guy Painting is based in Amherst and serves Cumberland County, including Amherst, Oxford, Pugwash, Springhill, and surrounding Nova Scotia communities.

## Why It’s on home.renovation.reviews

A five-star painting contractor in a smaller market is worth highlighting. Amherst sits at the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border, and quality painting trades who work with the care and consistency that Tall Guy brings are genuinely valuable to homeowners in Cumberland County. Their protection-first approach also makes them a reliable pick for post-renovation finishing work where clean handoffs to paint matter. For homeowners completing a renovation and looking for a painter who integrates professionally with the overall project schedule, Tall Guy’s five-star track record is a meaningful signal in a region where vetted trade referrals can be hard to come by.
