# Sway Builds — Renovations, Flooring & Waterproofing in Woodstock, ON

Sway Builds Inc. is a family-owned renovation company based at 169 Hemlock Street in Woodstock, Ontario, serving Oxford County with a notably broad specialty-trade mix for a shop its size. The firm was federally incorporated in August 2017 and positions around whole-home and basement renovation with in-house flooring and waterproofing as named sub-specialties — an unusual combination that slots Sway Builds into a niche the Oxford County directory previously had no anchor for.

## Services

- House and basement renovation — full interior scope including separate-entrance conversions
- Kitchen renovations and bathroom renovations
- Flooring — hardwood refinishing, floor heating, tiling, and complete floor replacements
- Bathtub refinishing and tile work
- Waterproofing — interior and exterior basement moisture management
- General contracting for smaller whole-home scopes

## Service Area

Woodstock is Sway Builds’ base, with public project history across Ingersoll, Kitchener, and the broader Oxford / Waterloo Region corridor. Basement waterproofing and separate-entrance work in particular pull the firm out into Kitchener and surrounding towns.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Sway Builds is the first Oxford County anchor positioned around basement waterproofing plus in-house flooring — both specialty trades that most Oxford County GCs subcontract out. It complements the Ingersoll generalist GC lane ([Zephyr Construction](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/zephyr-construction/805), [Dwell Construction](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/dwell-construction/812), [P.L. Custom Homes](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/p-l-custom-homes-renovations/814)) by giving Oxford County homeowners a Woodstock-based shop to call when the project leans basement moisture control or flooring-first scope. The 2017 founding places Sway Builds alongside Ayvaun (2016) in the directory’s since-2010s tenure band.
