# Stalwood Homes — Custom Home Builder in Cobourg and Northumberland County

Stalwood Homes is a family-run custom home builder headquartered in Cobourg with developments across Northumberland County — Cobourg, Brighton, Baltimore, Grafton, and Garden Hill. The company’s catalogue spans freehold condos, townhomes, semi-detached, fully detached, and fully custom builds, which is a fairly wide range for a regional builder. Reviewers on home.renovation.reviews tend to single out Stalwood’s finish carpentry and master-planned community work (East Village and Orchard Gate are the most commonly referenced projects).

## Services

- Custom single-family homes on private lots
- Freehold condominiums and townhomes
- Semi-detached and fully detached production homes
- Master-planned community development
- In-house design support for floorplan customization

## Service Area

Cobourg, Brighton, Baltimore, Grafton, Garden Hill, and the wider Northumberland County region.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Most directory listings in this geography are single-home renovators — Stalwood is one of the few local builders that also manages master-planned communities, so they get their own entry for readers comparing “buy an existing home” vs. “commission a custom build” paths. The resale-value angle (their earliest custom homes from the early 2000s still trade at premiums locally) is part of why the editorial team kept this profile in the directory on import.
