# Staircase Renovation — From Hazard to Feature

Before renovation, staircases can be steep, narrow, uneven, or poorly lit. Kids and elderly people are most at risk, but everyone is just “careful” instead of fixing the problem.

During renovation, changing staircases is messy — concrete breaking, rail installation, or retiling. But it directly affects safety.

After renovation, proper handrails, even risers, and clear lighting make stairs safe and stylish. The staircase becomes part of the design rather than a dangerous corner.

Real tip: Always add handrails on both sides if elderly people use the stairs.
