# Speed River Contracting Inc — Kitchen, Bathroom & Full-Home Renovations in Guelph, ON Speed River Contracting is a full-service renovation company based at 400 Elizabeth Street in Guelph, Ontario, holding a 4.7-star rating across 29 client reviews. The company grew from the experience and trade roots of BG Renovations and Cornerstone Plumbing Solutions Inc, bringing all necessary trades in-house to ensure projects move efficiently without the fragmentation of hiring and coordinating multiple sub-contractors. What sets Speed River apart in the competitive Guelph market is their integrated approach: because plumbing, carpentry, and finish work are all handled by the same team, renovation projects stay on schedule and design intent is maintained from demo to final walk-through. They’ve also invested in content and education through a blog, YouTube channel, and podcast — reflecting a contractor culture that values transparency and informed clients. ## Services - **Kitchen renovations** — cabinetry, countertops, tile backsplash, plumbing rough-in, and full kitchen redesigns - **Bathroom renovations** — wet area tiling, vanity builds, fixture upgrades, and complete bathroom transformations - **Basement renovations** — framing, drywall, flooring, and egress window installations for below-grade living spaces - **Full-home renovations** — whole-house transformations coordinated under a single general contract - **In-house plumbing** — plumbing expertise from the Cornerstone Plumbing lineage, integrated into renovation scope ## Service Area Speed River Contracting serves Guelph, Cambridge, Elora, Waterloo, and Kitchener — covering the tri-city corridor and Wellington County. ## Why It’s on home.renovation.reviews The in-house trades model is a meaningful differentiator for homeowners who’ve been burned by renovation projects where sub-contractors caused scheduling and quality gaps. Speed River’s 4.7-star reputation across nearly 30 reviews, combined with their educational content output, signals a company that is invested in long-term client relationships rather than one-off transactions.
