This update was done in a bedroom in Toronto Canada

The room felt heavy and dull especially in the mornings

I was not ready for a full renovation so I focused only on paint

Before the change the walls were dark and made the space feel smaller

Natural light did not reflect well

During the work I realized prep mattered more than painting itself

Fixing small cracks and sanding took extra time

After repainting with a lighter shade the room felt calmer and brighter

The space now feels easier to relax in

The change was simple but it improved daily comfort

I still plan to update the lighting later

If you are in Toronto and your bedroom feels off paint is an easy place to start

Real note

Preparation makes simple upgrad
