# Sage Design & Construction — Custom Homes & Heritage Renos in Prince Edward County

Sage Design & Construction is a Picton-based custom home designer and construction manager that has been working across Prince Edward County and South-Eastern Ontario since 1989. The firm is a member of the Prince Edward County Construction Association (PECCA) and specializes in turn-key design-and-build projects that typically either honour an existing heritage envelope or create a new home shaped by the County’s agricultural and lakeshore landscapes. The business is transitioning to a new umbrella brand, Sage Group, so readers may also encounter them under that name.

## Services

- Turn-key custom home design and construction management
- Major renovations and home additions on existing structures
- Heritage restoration on century and farmhouse properties
- Shoreline and cottage builds across PEC lakeshores
- Design consultation that pairs architectural planning with budget management

## Service Area

Prince Edward County (Picton, Wellington, Bloomfield, Cherry Valley, Consecon), Napanee, Kingston, Belleville, Trenton, and surrounding South-Eastern Ontario.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Prince Edward County is one of Ontario’s most distinct design regions — the housing stock is heavily weighted to 19th-century farmhouses, stone homes, and waterfront cottages — and most GTA-focused builders aren’t set up for that context. Sage is on the directory because three-plus decades of work specifically in PEC means they already know which assemblies survive County winters, which heritage details are worth preserving, and which permitting realities slow down a project before it starts.
