# Reap Construction — Fine Home Building & Renovation in Richmond, VT

Robert and Joy Reap started Reap Construction in 2004. Robert has been a carpenter and general contractor for over 20 years and moved to Richmond in 1997; Joy manages projects and runs the administrative side. Together they run a focused operation that handles custom homes, full renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, roofing, and siding work across Chittenden County. They hold a 4.2-star rating from 21 reviews — solid for a smaller firm doing work at the higher end of the residential market.

## Services

- Custom home building and additions
- Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
- Whole-home renovations
- Roofing and siding

## Service area

Richmond and greater Chittenden County, Vermont — Burlington, Colchester, Essex, South Burlington, Williston, Hinesburg, Jericho, and Shelburne.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

A husband-and-wife operation where the founder has two decades of carpentry behind him tends to produce a different kind of job site than a larger outfit. Reap has the breadth to handle roofing and custom builds but stays small enough to stay hands-on — a combination worth noting for homeowners in the Burlington area.
