# Provost Construction & Sons — Commercial GC & Multi-Family in Norfolk, VA

Provost Construction & Sons LLC was founded in Norfolk in 2009 and brings over 100 years of combined project management experience across the team. Their work is on the commercial and multi-family side: retail buildouts, restaurant construction, multi-unit residential, and adaptive reuse projects. Adaptive reuse — converting older commercial buildings to residential or mixed-use purposes — is increasingly common across Hampton Roads and requires a contractor with working knowledge of both the original building’s structural logic and the code requirements for its new function. They carry a 4.4 average from 16 reviews.

## Services

- Retail construction and tenant improvement projects for commercial properties
- Restaurant construction and renovation from raw shell through operational kitchen and dining build-out
- Multi-family residential construction including apartment buildings and townhome developments
- Adaptive reuse projects converting existing commercial stock to new residential or mixed-use purposes
- Pre-construction services including project budgeting, scheduling, and design coordination

## Service area

Norfolk, VA and the broader Hampton Roads metro, including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and the Peninsula.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Listed as the primary commercial and multi-family general contractor reference for Norfolk in the directory. Provost’s adaptive reuse experience is relevant given the conversion activity currently moving through the Hampton Roads commercial market.
