# Petra General Services — General Contractor in the Gananoque & Thousand Islands Region

Petra General Services is a general contracting company operating in the Thousand Islands area, delivering a broad range of construction and home improvement services to residential and light-commercial clients. Working in a region defined by its mix of island properties, waterfront homes, rural lots, and year-round town residences, Petra General brings practical construction knowledge to projects that vary considerably in scope, terrain, and access conditions. The company’s cross-trade capabilities allow homeowners and property managers to engage a single contractor for multi-phase projects rather than coordinating multiple specialists — which is a genuine advantage in a rural and semi-rural corridor where trades availability can be uneven.

## Services

- **Roofing & Exterior Work** — Roof replacements, repairs, siding installation, and exterior finishing for residential and light commercial properties across the region
- **Masonry & Structural Work** — Foundation work, masonry repairs, retaining structures, and concrete work suited to the variable terrain of the Thousand Islands landscape
- **Kitchen & Bathroom Renovations** — Complete interior remodelling including cabinetry, countertops, tile installation, and fixture upgrades for both seasonal and year-round homes
- **Home Additions & New Living Spaces** — Attached and detached additions, garage conversions, and custom studio builds; scoped and permitted appropriately for the project site
- **General Home Improvement** — Electrical updates, drywall, flooring, and finish carpentry for staged or whole-home renovation projects

## Service Area

Petra General Services serves the Gananoque area and the broader Thousand Islands corridor of eastern Ontario and the adjacent St. Lawrence region.

## Why It’s on home.renovation.reviews

General contractors comfortable across the full scope of home improvement — not just one specialty trade — are a valuable find in rural communities where homeowners often need a single trusted point of contact for multi-trade projects. Petra General Services is profiled here as part of the directory’s ongoing coverage of 1000 Islands regional contractors.
