# Press Release: New Zealand Dominates Pakistan in Fourth T20I **FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE** **Date: March 23, 2025** **Contact: local@renovation.reviews** * * * ## New Zealand Clinches Series Victory Over Pakistan with a Commanding Win Mount Maunganui, New Zealand – In a dramatic showdown during the fourth T20I match held on March 23, 2025, New Zealand showcased their cricketing prowess with a resounding 115-run victory over Pakistan. This win not only solidified New Zealand’s dominance in the series, taking a decisive 3-1 lead, but also highlighted the challenges faced by the Pakistan team throughout the series. ### Match Highlights Batting first, New Zealand set an imposing target of **220 runs** for Pakistan, concluding their innings at **220/6**. The team’s explosive batting lineup was led by **Finn Allen** , who scored a blistering **50 runs off just 20 balls** , and **Michael Bracewell** , who contributed a crucial **46 not out** from 26 balls. **Tim Seifert** also played a pivotal role, adding **44 runs** to the total. The home team’s aggressive approach resulted in powerful boundaries and sixes, leaving Pakistan’s bowlers struggling to contain the onslaught. In response, Pakistan’s batting lineup faltered, managing to score only **105 runs** in **16.2 overs**. The standout bowler for New Zealand was **Jacob Duffy** , who claimed **4 wickets for just 20 runs** , effectively dismantling the Pakistani batting order. ### Previous Encounters and Series Context This match followed a rollercoaster of performances in the series. Pakistan had previously bounced back in the third T20I, achieving a remarkable victory by chasing down a target of **205 runs** in just **16 overs** , thanks to a stunning century by **Hasan Nawaz**. His unbeaten **105 runs off 45 balls** marked the fastest century by any Pakistan player in T20 internationals, providing a glimmer of hope for the visiting team. However, the fourth T20I proved to be a different story, as New Zealand’s bowlers quickly extinguished any momentum Pakistan had built. With this victory, New Zealand has effectively clinched the series, leaving Pakistan with much to ponder as they prepare for the upcoming ODI series. ### Looking Ahead As the cricketing world turns its attention to the remainder of the series, Pakistan will need to regroup and strategize for their upcoming matches. The tour will continue with a three-match ODI series following the conclusion of the T20 format. Furthermore, the international cricket landscape is set for a brief hiatus as many top players will participate in the Indian Premier League from late March through mid-April. ### Conclusion The fourth T20I has not only showcased New Zealand’s cricketing dominance but also highlighted the resilience required from Pakistan as they navigate through a challenging series. Fans are eager to see how Pakistan will respond in the upcoming matches, as they aim to regain their footing and finish the tour on a high note.
