# Nor-Fab System Built Homes — Modular & Prefab Home Manufacturer in Fort Frances, Ontario

Nor-Fab System Built Homes has been building **affordable modular and prefab homes for Northwestern Ontario communities since 2007**. Sales offices operate from **406A Highway 11/71, Fort Frances, ON P9A 3M2** and a second office in Thunder Bay. Nor-Fab is the directory’s **first dedicated modular / prefab-home manufacturer** — a category distinct from log / timber-frame ([Discovery Dream Homes Muskoka](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/discovery-dream-homes-muskoka-log-timber-frame-custom-cottages-in-gravenhurst-on/692)) and distinct from site-built custom (covered by most of the directory).

## Services

- **Modular homes** — 14-foot, 16-foot, and double-wide models, all customizable to the buyer’s layout, finishes, and budget.
- **Fully equipped builds** — every home ships with an HRV system, furnace, fridge, stove, oven, range hood, dishwasher, and complete interior finishes (cabinetry + flooring).
- **Park model homes** — for Thunder Bay, Kenora, Dryden, and surrounding Lake of the Woods / Rainy River cottage markets.
- **Custom + pre-designed floor plans** — standard catalogue plus custom design for site constraints.
- **Warranty program** — 1-year full warranty plus up to 10 years of structural warranty on every home.

## Service Area

Primarily **Northwestern Ontario** — Fort Frances, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Dryden, Rainy River District, and Lake of the Woods communities. A fully functional display home is on-site in Fort Frances and open to tour.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Prefab / modular is the fastest-growing residential construction category in Canada and historically underrepresented in reno directories. Nor-Fab is a near-ideal first entry: locally owned, nearly two decades of continuous operation, genuine manufacturing (not just brokerage), and a product mix that covers both primary-residence and cottage/park-model use. It’s also the **third Fort Frances anchor** in the directory, extending the Fort Frances cluster to three-deep in a single run.
