A bathroom with natural light feels fresher and more welcoming. If your renovation allows it, enlarging a window or adding a frosted glass opening can make a big difference. Natural light also helps reduce mold by drying moisture faster.

When windows aren’t possible, brighter artificial lighting should compensate. Renovation is the best time to improve how light enters the bathroom instead of relying on decoration alone.
