Saw a setup recently where they turned the space under the stairs into drawers and shelves instead of leaving it empty. Looked clean and made the house feel way more organized without taking extra space.

Those small practical upgrades are starting to impress me more than flashy renovations honestly. One thing I’ve noticed with modern kitchen renovations is that some designs look incredible in photos but probably stressful to maintain every day 😅

Especially open shelving. It looks clean online, but realistically you’d have to keep everything organized constantly or the whole kitchen starts feeling cluttered.

Still looks great though when done properly.

Turning space under stairs into drawers is peak creativity, and that’s what renovation is all about.
