# Morin Construction Ltd — Civil Construction, Excavation, and Home Renovations in Hearst, ON Morin Construction Ltd is a Hearst-based civil construction and earthmoving contractor whose scope reaches well beyond residential renovation — the same firm operates Morin Logging as a sister brand and supplies ready-mix concrete, aggregate, excavation, and septic services alongside home-renovation work. That range of services is common in Cochrane-District firms where the distance between suppliers makes vertical integration a practical necessity, and it means Morin can self-supply most of the materials a residential project needs. ## Services - **General contracting** — residential renovation and small-commercial scopes. - **Home renovations** — kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home remodels in the Highway 11 corridor. - **Excavation** — site prep, grading, and foundation excavation for residential and commercial projects. - **Sand and gravel supply** — aggregate supplied through an in-house operation. - **Ready-mix concrete** — concrete supplied from a local plant for foundations, slabs, and civil work. - **Septic system installation** — design and installation of private septic systems for rural properties. - **Equipment rental** — heavy equipment available for third-party jobs. - **Snow removal** — commercial and municipal snow-removal service. - **Sister operation: Morin Logging** — forestry and logging operations that share overhead and equipment with the construction side. ## Service Area Morin Construction Ltd is based at 644 Jolin Street, Hearst, ON P0L 1N0, with a single-line contact at 1-855-383-0904. The firm serves Hearst, Mattice, Opasatika, Jogues, Constance Lake First Nation, Kapuskasing, and the surrounding Cochrane District communities. ## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews Morin Construction Ltd is one of those rural-Ontario firms that blurs the line between residential reno and civil infrastructure — a useful reference for homeowners planning a rural new-build or a cottage renovation where the driveway, septic, foundation, concrete, and framing all need to be coordinated. The Morin Logging sister brand — disclosed here rather than separated into its own listing — is a tell that the firm’s overhead has been built for heavy equipment rather than downtown remodel work. ## More from home.renovation.reviews - See also: [Bruinsma Excavating Ltd](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/bruinsma-excavating-ltd/652) — the 45+ year family excavation / septic specialist in Goderich. - See also: [George Benn & Sons Construction Ltd](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/george-benn-sons-construction-ltd/700) — the Newburgh / Napanee excavation and aggregate anchor in Eastern Ontario. - See also: [Trudel Excavation](https://home.renovation.reviews/t/trudel-excavation-pieux-visses-hawkesbury/759) — helical-pile foundation specialist in L’Orignal. - Guide: Rural and cottage renovation reading on the LF Builders blog — [https://blog.lfbuilders.ca](https://blog.lfbuilders.ca) - Main site: [https://lfbuilders.ca](https://lfbuilders.ca) * * *
