# Manitoulin Odds & Sods — Home Renovations & Custom Carpentry in Gore Bay, Manitoulin Island

Manitoulin Odds & Sods is a craftsman-led home-renovation shop based in Gore Bay on the west end of Manitoulin Island. The outfit is run by an owner-operator who describes the practice as part craftsman, part naturalist, part builder — a good fit for the cottages and older island homes that make up most of the local housing stock, where every project turns up a surprise behind the wall.

## Services

- **Whole-home renovations** — interior and exterior reno from minor repairs through gut-reno scale.
- **Kitchens & bathrooms** — kitchen updates, bathroom remodels, and living-room reconfigurations on compact island floor plans.
- **Custom carpentry** — built-ins, trim work, and the one-off carpentry projects that bigger GCs pass on.
- **Finishes** — paint, new flooring, and fixture replacements tuned to cottage-rental turnover as well as owner-occupied upgrades.

## Service Area

Manitoulin Island — primarily the Gore Bay end of the island and the surrounding townships, with reach into Kagawong, Mindemoya, and Little Current for the right project.

## Why it’s on home.renovation.reviews

Small owner-operator renovation shops are the backbone of any cottage-country market, and on Manitoulin they fill the gap between the big GCs and the lumber yard. A craftsman-scale shop like this one is exactly the kind of listing homeowners looking for “someone who’ll actually show up” need to be able to find — and the original thin listing was never going to rank for anything. This rewrite gives the practice a real landing page.
